This Training Thursday features a uneven bar endurance complex that JPAC uses to help develop the strength, endurance and form needed to complete a bar routine successfully. The exercises are all ones that most gyms used but put together for time helps to conditioning the body specifically for bar routines. Two athletes in this video won bars at Level 10 Nationals in 2021. If you are looking for a complex to help improve your bar endurance, check this one out. Full complex below

We had the pleasure of sitting down with the 2022 NCAA All Around Champion and soul piercing performer Oklahoma Senior, now grad student Anastasia Webb. We have a great conversation about her memories in Region 5, her experiences at Oklahoma, the origin of her gymnastics style that is not short of adjectives, the NCAA Championships and more. Anastasia was one of the most underrated gymnasts during her career even though she was one of the best in the NCAA. We go around the gym with the Region 5 All Star Team. Check out highlights from training at Amanda Borden’s gym during the All Star Trip. This video features footage from two days of training (some didn’t do all 4 on each day). The team is in the preparation phase for the upcoming season so each continued what there training plan with their personal coaches.
While in Arizona, the 2021 Region 5 All Star Team, has had the opportunity to do some training at Gold Medal Gymnastics in Tempe. Gold Medal Gymnastics is owned and operated by a Region 5 Alumni & Legend Amanda Borden. Amanda, who trained her entire career in Cincinnati, Ohio at CGA with Mary Lee Tracy, was the captain of the 1996 Magnificent Seven who became the first US Women’s Gymnastics Team to win the Team Gold Medal in a fully attended Olympic Games.
The Team also visited the Goldfield Ghost Town & Mine in Apache Junction, which sits at the foot of the Superstition Mountains, partaking in some fun activities such as ziplining, the Mystery Shack and much more.
