The convention hall was loud and rocking at the 2016 UGA Winter Classic hosted by United Gymnastics Academy. As any competition at the beginning of the season there were some highs and lows through out. UGA won the team competition lead by senior Emili Dobronics who won the senior age group AA title and posted the top floor score of the competition. The top AA performance of the meet came from Aspire’s Sierra Brooks despite a huge wobble on beam (almost matrix like save) while also taking home top honors on bars. Sierra’s teammate at Aspire, Hanna Bergeson, posted the top beam score of the day to finish 2nd AA in the senior age group and contribute to the 2nd place team finish for Aspire.
