Region 5 qualified 6 athletes to the 2020 Nastia Cup. 2019 JO National All Around Champion Jacey Vore from JPAC rocked a 9.975 on vault and balanced her way to a 9.8 on beam to take 2nd place in the senior division with a 39.175. Andrea Li from Legacy Elite won the floor title for seniors with a 9.8 to finish 3rd in the all around with a 38.875. Region 5 seniors all finished top 10 with Legacy Elite’s Gabby Perea finishing 6th with a 38.525 and Euro Stars Nikki Smith finishing 10th in the all around 38.3 and took the senior beam title with a 9.825. In the junior division, Legacy Elite’s Layla Hammer was 10th in the all around 37.55 and Samantha Macasu finished 12th with a 37.35.
