The 2016 Michigan Level 9 State Meet showcased the incredible future of Michigan and Region 5 Gymnastics. The talent and level of gymnastics shown at this meet this weekend was unbelievable. From amazing floor choreography to high flying bar changes to the enormous amount of stuck landings. The Level 9 Sessions at State Meet were certainly ones to watch. This years Level 9 Sessions were very enjoyable, they seemed to be a bit more laid back than in the past few years, all the gymnasts and coaches seemed to be a bit more relaxed and ready to take on the floor. It was refreshing to see that is for sure. 
The State Meet for some is the end of a long grueling season, but for those at the higher levels like Level 9 & 10 it is just the beginning of Championship Season, from here the girls who have earned a 34.00 All-Around or higher will automatically qualify to the Region 5 Championships, for those were did not qualify a petition may be filed to advance them to Regionals. Regionals is the time that is most important, this is the meet that determines who will be representing Region 5 at the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Virginia Beach.
