The Wolverine Classic, hosted by Gym America in Saline Michigan, is one of the longest running Invitationals in the state of Michigan. The Wolverine Classic has always been one of my favorite meets to attend, the first time I competed in the WC was in 1996 when it was held at the University of Michigan, ever since then I have always made it a point to attend this meet in one way or another.
This year the Level 9/10 session was filled with many talented athletes and many entertaining routines. The level of creativity was very high at this meet and it was very refreshing to see such entertaining, creative and original routines on all pieces of apparatus.
The Teams that competed at the 2016 Wolverine Classic included: Gym America, Twistars USA, Bay Valley Academy, Phoenix GEMS, Farmington, Grand Rapids Gymnastics, Great Lakes Elite and Gym Dreams.
